A big thank you to everyone who competed at Mill Ride Golf Club in round one on Friday 6th June 2008. We are pleased to announce that the raffle and charity auction raised over £700 for STAR4Africa on the day.
Congratulations go to teams Bingy Bangy Bongo with 87 points, STAR4Africa with 77 points and Bluecrest with 74 points. All three teams have now made it through to the Grand Final on Friday 12th September 2008 at the prestigious Wentworth Club in Surrey. Well done also to David Heffer from Tradition UK for winning the Nearsest the Pin competition sponsored by Deutsche Börse and to Blair Kester from Tullet Prebon who won the longest drive contest sponsored by Tradition.
We have a limited number of team places still available for round two at Foxhills Club & Resort, Surrey on Friday 20th June so please book now to avoid any disappointment.
Excellent hospitality and superb prizes are on offer at Foxhills and Grand Final where the overall winning team will receive The Banks and Brokers Golf Championship Trophy and a trip to the 5-Star Gloria Golf Resort courtesy of Matrix Golf Holidays.
